 This center provides students with routine health check-ups, basic examinations, first-aid, health advice, counseling, health check-up certificate, student support programs and so on. It is possible to refer you to an appropriate hospital or clinic where you can see an English-speaking doctor or a female doctor.

If you feel sick or get injured, go to the nearest Kanazawa University Health Service Center. At the Center, you can receive first aid treatment. You will not have to show your Health Insurance card but your Student ID Card is required. First aid is free of charge.

An English-speaking doctor is available on certain days of the week. In most cases, you should ask your tutor or friends for help if you need to explain your symptoms, as the medical staff does not speak English. If you prefer to see a doctor who can communicate in English-language, please make an appointment by telephone or Email. This center deals only with sickness or injury of minor level. Depending on your symptoms, you may be advised to go to a specific hospital or clinic.
